Pumkin Chunkin Palooza Announces Talent Show, Set For Sept. 25 At Ozarks Amphitheater

Organizers of the Lake’s Biggest Family Fall Festival, Pumkin Chunkin Palooza, have announced they will be adding a new event for 2021.

Pumkin Chunkin Palooza’s Got Talent is planned to be the largest talent competition of the year, with 1st place winning a $5,000 cash prize. Pumpkin Chunkin Palooza is set for Saturday, Sept. 25 at the Ozarks Amphitheater from 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. The venue will then re-open with the talent show at 6 p.m., as the top 10 finalists will perform for a live audience starting at 7 p.m.

Submissions are being accepted from July 1 through Aug. 20 and can be any talent one feels is worth showcasing including musical groups or solo performers, dance, comedy, dramatic interpretation, circus acts, magic, and more. There is a $20 entry fee for each act and the auditions should be sent as a 3-minute or shorter video to pcpgottalent1@gmail.com.

The video should be an mp4 or YouTube link and the top 10 finalists will be contacted by Sept. 3 entree fee to attend the event with paying audience members voting for the winners in 2 separate rounds. After round 1, the top 5 will then perform again with the audience once again voting for the overall winner. The winner will take home a $5,000 prize.
