The Price Of This 236-Foot-Long Superyacht Is Over $70 Million…In Bitcoin

The 236-foot-long superyacht AZTECA, which was built by CRN and will attend the 2021 Monaco Yacht Show is for sale. But here’s the thing. The owner will only accept payment (totaling well over $70 million) in Bitcoin.

Now even though cryptocurrency payments have been increasing in the yachting industry, whoever ends up buying AZTECA could break a record for largest ever yacht to be purchased with Bitcoin.

“This is an exciting prospect for many of our clients and presents a unique opportunity for a yacht of this size to be sold in Bitcoin only,” says Edmiston broker Antonio Yturbe Redo. “AZTECA will be shown at Monaco Yacht Show, in all her glory, and buyers are welcomed to meet with our brokers and take a tour of the yacht.”

And for those of you who can’t make it to Monaco, AZTECA was designed by Nuvolari & Lenard. Her main salon is elegant and opulent with a piano and a generous lounge area. It also features a full-beam sky lounge, a cinema room and an elevator.

Down below, the yacht can accommodate 16 guests in eight cabins, including the owner’s suite with dual bathrooms and a fold-down balcony. The rest of the guest accommodation comprises five king cabins and two queens.

On deck, guests will find a large sun deck, with a lounge area aft, covered dining midships and a hot tub forward. The massive beach club provides another indoor/outdoor space, with room for sun loungers and easy access for trying out some of the wealth of tenders and water toys, including a Castoldi tender, a Zodiac rescue tender, Sea-Doos, Jet Skis, and an inflatable climbing wall.

Watch this space…and watch the price of Bitcoin!
